J L Peyer Im Hoff to [William Gerard de Brahm], 15 Jul 1773, James Island, South Carolina, the reason Mr Roux did not go to East Florida was because he heard there was no settlement at the Gulf of Sandwich, his death, fresh orders sent to Governors concerning granting lands, fears that the grant in East Florida may come under the new regulations, would the 6000 acres for Mr Roux be transferred to his family, his (de Brahm's) friends desire very much to see him, in French
