| Description | The King of Spain having granted the Spanish Assiento Company permission to remove their principal factory to the Havannah and to purchase slaves from the neighbouring colonies and convey them in Spanish vessels to their own settlements, it occurs to the writer that from the vicinity of Jamaica to the Spanish settlements where negroes are most demanded a large trade might be established there, providing the slaves could be purchased in sufficient numbers and under as advantageous terms as the other British plantations
