DescriptionPhiladelphia, submitting, after examination of the papers sent to him respecting the settlement of the price of rum contracted for with Messrs Mure Son and Atkinson, that in the present situation of the country the quantity of rum requisite could only be obtained by contract, and intimating that the report of the referees, as competent judges, may be fully accepted, as only in London could the entire charges attending such contracts be ascertained with precision
